Hi My name is Alistair Hosie I live in Scotland basically I have always wanted to work with wood.after becoming retired from dentistry(orthodontic technician, and other business interests I had mainly renting property and a hotel which my wife and I owned) as I had a form of parkinsons disease. I built a purpose made shop which I did about 13 years ago. I make mostly furniture and am a serious woodturner mostly of my own design or copy design from books magazines etc.I also have a fully fitted machine shop for working with metal I will post a few pics of my shop and some of my work.I make everything for family and friends and myself nothing gets sold .So please will you excuse my typing from time to time it gets very poor anyway intro over I will be in touch.kindest regards Alistair
